Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation

Health & Psychiatry offers Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) therapy, an innovative treatment for major depressive disorder. NeuroStar TMS Therapy is the first non-systemic and non-invasive, outpatient depression treatment cleared by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for patients who have not benefited from prior antidepressant treatment.

Psychiatric Evaluations

We conduct a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation to identify biological, psychological and social factors that could be contributing to the patient’s symptoms. Alter the evaluation we make a treatment plan.

After evaluation, some problems which appear to be biological, requiring medication for treatment, other therapy is the primary focus of treatment. Most patients will have a combination of biological, psychological and social factors.

Medication Management

Medication provides life changing relief for people who are dealing with mental health issues. In addition to relieving depression, mood disorders, and anxiety, prescription medication can provide assistance to people suffering with memory disorders and addiction.

Medication not only enables to patients to live and work in their home communities, but it also allows them to address other aspects of their lives and make changes that assist in their ongoing recovery.

We also perform a comprehensive medication review to identify, resolve, and prevent medication-related problems, including adverse drug effects. We then document the care delivered and communicate this essential information to our patient’s other primary care providers.
